Mrs. Anna M. Blume of Stetsonville passed away on December 3, 1976 at 9:15 a.m.
at the Memorial Hospital in Medford.
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 6 at the Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in Stetsonville, with Father Arthur Weber conducting the service. Burial
followed at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Holway.
Mrs. Blume was born on January 24, 1892 in Marathon City, Wisconsin. Her maiden
name was Heil. She married Ludwig Blume in 1907.
The Blumes lived in Marathon city until 1938, when they moved to a farm in the
Town of Holway, where they farmed until 1960, when they moved to Stetsonville.
Mr. Blume died April 1975.
The deceased is survived by daughters, Mrs. Robert (Magdaline) Deitmeyer,
Springfield, Oregon, Mrs. Joseph (Ellen) Osolowski of Milwaukee, Mrs. Eugene
(Catherine) Purgett, Germantown; sons, Leander Blume of Curtiss, Alfred Blue,
Curtiss, Dave Blume of Anchorage, Alaska, Arthur Blume, of Edgar, and Leo Blume
of Fairbanks, Alaska.
She is also survived by one brother, Peter Hillof, Green Bay, and two sisters,
Mrs. Elizabeth Bartels of Green Bay and Mrs. Agnes Bauman of Three Rivers.
She had thirty one grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were four sons, one daughter, one grandchild, two
brothers and two sisters.
