Lebeck, Ralph (7 Jun 1900 – 20 Dec 1976)
Ralph Lebeck, aged 76, a former resident of Longwood, died on December 20, 1976
at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida, where he has
been living the last four years.
Mr. Lebeck was born June 7, 1900 in the Town of Longwood. He worked at the
Longwood Cheese Factory, and then later as a cheese maker at Alma Center, until
1947. He then moved to Alma, Wisconsin, working for a dairy until 1953, when he
moved to Milwaukee. In 1965 he moved to Florida. In the summer he lived at
Phillips, Wisconsin.
The deceased was married to Helen Tisdale.
Surviving are three sons, Gary, Carol and Allen Lebeck, all of Milwaukee, and
one daughter, Mrs. Jean (Bonnie) Capps of Yorktown, West Virginia.
Also surviving are two brothers, Adolph Lebeck of Medford, Fred Lebeck of
Marshfield, and one sister, Mrs. Art (Emily) Bjornstad of Cadott.
The deceased also is survived by six grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Kraut-Maurina
Funeral Home in Owen, with the Rev. David Wenger officiating. Burial services
will follow at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Longwood.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
