Saint Mary’s Catholic Church at Manitowoc was the scene of an afternoon wedding
which united Miss Linda Lou Pavlowich and Jeffrey Lester Jens in marriage. Miss
Pavlowich is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pavlowich of Manitowoc, and Mr.
Jens is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jens, Owen.
The Rev. Joseph Mattern conducted the nuptial ceremony on Saturday, December 18,
1976 at two o’clock in the afternoon.
Miss Linda Sue Klingholz of Manitowoc was maid of honor, with bridesmaids, Miss
Laurie Zurakowski, Thorp, Miss Peggy Bonikowske, Ogdensburg, and Miss Marsha
Wagner, Owen.
Attending the groom as best man was Eugene Jasinski, Withee, and groomsmen were,
Tim Jens, brother of the groom, from Wild Rose, Dennis Clark of Antigo and
Michael Van Dyne Hoven of Appleton.
Junior bridesmaids were Miss Heidi Doberstein, Oshkosh, a niece of the groom,
and Miss Carol Ronski of Green Bay.
Serving as ushers were David Sturm, Manitowoc and Tim Meyer, Appleton.
Following the ceremony a buffet supper, reception with dance were held at Club
443, Manitowoc.
The newlyweds are making their home at 730 Pine Street, Omro, Wisconsin.
The new Mrs. Jens is a graduate of the Lincoln High School, Class of 1972 at
Manitowoc, the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, Class of 1977, majoring in
Speech Therapy. She has been employed at Mirro Aluminum Company, Manitowoc.
The groom is a 1972 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, the University of
Wisconsin, Oshkosh, graduating with a B. S. in 1977, majoring in Biology, with a
History minor.
