Lipscy, Mae (21 September1891 – 1 February 1978)
The mother of a rural Neillsville man was buried in St. Peter, Minnesota,
February 6. Passing away, February 1, was Mrs. Mae Lipscy, 86, mother of Donald
Lipscy, Rt. 2 Neillsville. Mrs. Lipscy had resided in Neillsville for the past
14 years. The former Mae Maxson was born in St. Peter on September 21, 1891 and
married George Lipscy on August 17, 1918. He died in 1972.
Surviving her are two sons, Donald, Neillsville, and Elroy, Sledell, La., three
daughters, Mrs. L.W. (Delores) Thompson of Scottsdale, Az., Mrs. William
(Eloise) Gray of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Betty Brue, St. Paul, Mn.; thirteen
grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters,
Ada Thompson of Mason City, Ia., and Ella Olsen, Tracey, Mn.
