Mr. and Mrs. Will P. Gullord and Mr. and Mrs. Herman J. Olson, of Greenwood,
were Sunday afternoon guests in the city, visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Merlin Hull. They had a delightful afternoon for their; ride. They also had the
pleasure of looking over the town as Mr. Gullord, brought to mind some of the
scenes and experiences of his boyhood days. It now is twenty-seven years since
he left here, but time has dealt lightly with him, and to his good wife as well,
and but few of his old-time friends would recollect that so many years; have
passed since Will was chief pill-pusher in the Peoples drug store. He has been
nicely situated in a business way at Greenwood the greater part of twenty-five
years, and enjoys a fine trade there. Could he and his wife and friends come
back for a longer visit, they would find many of his old friends and companions
all ready for a talk about the days that were, when Indian ponies were more
numerous than automobiles on the Main street parking spaces. Mr. and Mrs. Olson
will also find a welcome among Will's friends. Mr. Olson formerly was sheriff of
Clark County and he and his family now reside on their fine farm near Greenwood.
