Cub Scouts (Awards - 1978)

The annual Blue-God Banquet for Neillsville Cub Scouts was held this past Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Scouts gaining awards and prizes for their past efforts as scouts.

In special “genius contest” competition, which allowed the young boys to create items out of left-over material, Steve Langton, Dave Bedell, Joe Clark and Jacob Nagy took top honors. (There were photos shown of each of the boys who won, with their “genius contest” entries. Dmk).

Appreciation certificates were also handed out to various citizens who have supported Cub Scouting in the past year.

The Cub Scouts and their parents, after a meal, were shown a slide presentation of Harry Liebzeit’s recent trip to the Yukon.
