The editor of the Clark County, Wisconsin Advocate, who recently notified his
readers that he should publish no paper the following weeks, as he was going out
of town on business, makes the subjoined queer announcement in his last issue:
“Mrs. M. (the other half of us) has returned from her trip to Minnesota, and
resumes her old position at the case; for which we graciously promise bed and
board, if she can live on faith, wear short dresses and vote our ticket in 1868.
