John Venzke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Venzke, Abbotsford, has received high
honors for the academic record he compiled during the first semester at the
University of Wisconsin Center, Medford. To earn honors, a student must carry
thirteen or more credits for the semester and earn a high grad average.
Three categories of honors are specified. Honors are awarded to students who
earn between a 3.2 and 3.49 grade point average. High honors are awarded to
students with a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.74. Highest honors are awarded
to students with a grade point average of 3.75 to 4.0. The highest grade point
average possible is 4.0, which represents a straight “A” record.
