Karl George Hutter, 87, of Thorp, died August 6, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Services will be Thursday at St. Hedwig's Chapel in Thorp. Burial will full Military rites will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Visitation will be at the Thorp Funeral Home.

He was born May 8, 1915, in Beaver Dam to Albert and (Adelheide (Ziegler) Hutter. He married Loraine Keller on July 14, 1941 and she died in 1964. He married Beth (nee Pagel) Fisher on October 17, 1970. He worked with Thorp Finance (ITT) for 28 years, retiring in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Hutter of Thorp; daughter, Karla (Joe) Stafford of Waunakee; stepson, Bill (Donna) Fisher of Waterford; stepdaughters, Nancy (Ron) Haas of Beloit, Carol (Allen) Bower of Rock Dam, Kathleen Fisher of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, Marybeth (Gene) Menden of Palm Beach Garden, Florida, Susan (Rol) DeBauche of Thorp and Laurie Jo (Dave) Tilly of Lino Lake, Minnesota; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and his sisters, Helen Hutter of Waunakee and Barbara Hartzeim of Beaver Dam.
