Included in nearly 1,800 University of Wisconsin, Whitewater students achieving
academic honors during the first semester of the 1971/72 school year were Kathy
J. Schraufnagel, Colby, receiving first honors, and Ronald L. Dums, Colby,
second honors.
Of these, 230 received grades of straight A for a 4.0 average. An additional 800
earned semester grade point averages of from 3.5 to 3.99, and were accorded
first honors. Second honors, for grade point averages of from 3.0 to 3.49 were
granted to 1,565 students.
A student must carry at least 12 credits with no grade below C.
