George Smith, Abbotsford, announced the engagement of his daughter, Kathleen
Ann, to Jerrold M. Thorne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thorne, RR1, Owen. Miss
Smith is a 1967 graduate of Colby High School and presently employed as high
school secretary in Abbotsford.
Her fiancé is a 1967 graduate of Owen-Withee High School and also attended
Wisconsin State University at Stevens Point. He is presently employed at Liberty
Home in Dorchester.
A June 10, 1972 wedding is being planned.
