Verschay, Holly Dawn (Birth – 13 December 1978)

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Verschay are the parents of a daughter, Holly Dawn, born December 13, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. She joins a sister, Heidi Jo. Grandparents are Mrs. Josephine Verschay of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Warner Schafer of Abbotsford.

At St. Thomas Catholic Church at Milan, the Rev. Len Stashek baptized Holly Dawn, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Verschay at 3 p.m. last Sunday. Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Calmes of Medford.

Following the baptism a dinner was served at the maternal grandparent’s home, Mr. and Mrs. Werner Schaefer of Abbotsford. Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Verschay and daughters Heidi and Holly, and Mrs. J. Verschay of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Calmes and daughter of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Schaefer, Mr. and Mrs. Werner Schaefer, Kim, Jamie and Merle of Abbotsford, and the Rev. Len Stashek of Milan.

Mr. and Mrs. Werner Schaefer now have nine granddaughters and only one adopted grandson.
