Dyre, Almay (? – 18 January 1979)

Mrs. Joe Albin Dyre, 77, Syracuse, N.Y., died Wednesday January 18, in a hospital in Syracuse.

Mrs. Dyre, the former Almay Johnson, was married to Joe Albin Dyre in 1929 in Minneapolis, Minn. He died at Syracuse in 1948 and was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Dyre had resided in Syracuse since the early 1930’s.

Surviving her is a son, Eddie Dyre, Syracuse, two sisters, a brother-in-law, Godfrey Dyer, Greenwood, and sister-in-law, Mrs. Christ (Angeline) Olson, Loyal.

Memorial funeral services for Mrs. Dyre will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Greenwood on Saturday, February 10, at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Sam Kochel, pastor, will officiate.
