Drinsinger, Peggy Sue (14 February 1978)
Zion Lutheran Church in Granton was the site for the exchange of Marriage vows
between Peggy Sue Drinsinger and Kristan Lee Collins on Valentine’s Day,
February 14. Parents of the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Drinsinger, Rt. 1
Granton, and Marie Collins of Chamblee, Georgia, and Glenn Collins of Wis.
Rapids, were among those attending the 4:00 p.m. services performed by the Rev.
Horst Augustin.
The bride, attired in a long white Celanese dress with a square neck, flower
appliqued long sleeves and picture hat with ribbon trim, carried a single long
stem ed rose, adorned with bay’s breath, as her father gave her away.
Lory Cook was maid of honor, was dressed similar to the bride with the exception
that her dress was designed with pink flowers, and she carried a long stem pink
rose and baby’s breath. Attending the groom was Michael Schmidt, Pittsville.
Music was furnished by Caroline Helm on the organ.
A reception and dinner at a Marshfield restaurant for the immediate family was
held following the ceremony.
The bride who attended Granton High School, and the groom who graduated from
Pittsville High School in 1975, will make their home in Marshfield where he is
employed by Rollohome. A wedding trip will be taken at a later date.
