Kleinschmidt, Edward (22 August 1892 - 5 March 1978)
Edward Kleinschmidt, 85, Granton, was found dead at his home early Sunday
morning. He was born August 22, 1892, in the Town of Lynn, and received his
education there and was married there to Ida Franke on May 29, 1918. The couple
lived on a farm in the Town of Fremont until 1960, when they moved to Granton.
He served on the Forestside School Board and on the Fremont town board.
He is survived by five sons, Guy of Wausau, Roy of Marshfield, and Silas, Glen
and Norbert, all of Chili; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Idora) Fenske of Chili;
20 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Arthur of Wausau.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1975, one sister and an infant brother.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Gilbertson Funeral Home in
Granton with the Rev. William Noble. Burial was in the Windfall Cemetery in
Granton.
Mrs. Henry Grottke was the singer and Mrs. Norman Faber the organist.
Pallbearers were Eddie, Ronald, Larry, Randy, Scott and James Kleinschmidt.
