Vine, Leone (28 November 1916 - 14 May 1983)
NEILLSVILLE - Mrs. Theamore L. (Leone) Vine, 66, of 314 State St., Neillsville,
died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Services will be Tuesday at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Rev.
Howard Ott, of United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the
Town of Grant Cemetery, Route 1, Granton.
Pallbearers will be James, Dale and Roger Krasselt, Dale and Robert Vine, and
Kenneth Gerhardt. Visitation at the Gesche Funeral Home.
The former Leone Gerhardt was born November 28, 1916 in the Town of Grant, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard (Martha Wilding) Gerhardt. She was educated in
Reed School, Town of Grant, and and was a 1936 graduate of Neillsville High
School.
She was married to Theamore Vine October 22, 1941 in the Town of grant, where
they farmed until 1975. They then retired and moved to Neillsville.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, the Pleasant Ridge Woman's Society
of Christian Service, and Neillsville Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Earl and Richard, both of Granton, and
David of Wisconsin Rapids; one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Jean) Penrod of Kansas,
Illinois; two brothers, Calvin Gerhardt of Neillsville and Dale Gerhardt of
Edmonds, Washington; and 11 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Clyde and Glenn.
