Pribnow, John W. “Jack” (11 July 1928 – 17 June 2021)

John W. "Jack" Pribnow, 92, of Marshfield, formerly of Loyal, died on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Three Oaks Health Services in Marshfield.

John Walter Pribnow was born on July 11, 1928, in Marshfield, to John C. and Meta (Maier) Pribnow. He was raised and received his education in Loyal. He was united in marriage to Grace I. Mildbrand on May 20, 1961, at the United Methodist Church in Loyal. They resided in Loyal for several years where Jack was the Postmaster. After retiring, they moved to Cornucopia in 1990.
After Grace's death on June 10, 2007, he continued living in Cornucopia until moving to Marshfield in 2016.

He had many interests, but especially loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Jack is survived by 2 daughters: Amy Pribnow (Rick Lechner) of Vesper, and Denise (Dennis) Engevold of Spencer, 2 sons: Tadd (Sandy) Pribnow of Milladore, and John (Donna) Pribnow of Stratford, 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one son-in-law; Jerry Michlig of Unity; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Grace; one daughter, Debra Michlig; and one sister, Wavaglee (George) Miller.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Cuddie Funeral Home, in Loyal, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be no services held.
