Myhrwold, Cora Eleanora (28 February 1885 – 6 April 1978)

Mrs. Cora Myhrwold, 93, died April 6, at the Golden Age Manor in Amery where she has spent the last few years. She lived for many years in Deronda, and also in Greenwood, where she made her home with her son, the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold, while he was pastor of Our Saviors Lutheran Church before going to his present charge at Downsville.

Mrs. Myhrwold, the former Cora Eleanora Jerdee, was born in Polk county February 28, 1885. She was married November 20, 1918, to Albert Myhrwold at the Deronda Lutheran Church parsonage.

Surviving are her son, the Rev. Myhrwold of Downsville, two daughters, Mrs. Sakal (Froydis) Yoshitomi of Nara, Japan; and Mrs. Newell (Sylvia) Larson of Bagdad, Ariz., ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services in charge of the Stenberg-Williams Funeral Home in Ambry were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Deronda Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Nelson officiated. Spring interment will be held at the Deronda Lutheran Church Cemetery.
