The district meeting of the Wisconsin Junior Dairymen Association was held April
13, 1972 at Edgar High School. While the meeting was taking place the district
extemporaneous speaking and demonstration contests were held.
Rich Gumz, representing Colby WJDA, won first place in the extemporaneous
speaking contest. He will now go on to state competition in June.
In the demonstration contest, Denny Brehm of the Colby WJDA and Jim Rankel took
second place.
