Mr. and Mrs. Larry Grensing, Abbotsford, have announced the sale of the Home
Motel to Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and Ann Simmelink, formerly of Sheboygan Falls. The
new proprietors took over the business on May 1, 1972 and have stated they do
not plan any changes at the present time.
Mr. and Mrs. Simmelink have six children; two are at home, one son is in Vietnam
and the others are married. Prior to the purchase of the motel Simmelink was
employed by the Borden Cheese Company at Plymouth.
According to Mr. and Mrs. Simmelink the people they have met so far have been
very friendly and they like the area very much. They are looking forward to
meeting everyone.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Grensing, owner of the motel for two years, have purchased a
larger resort-motel at Branson, Missouri, in the Ozarks.
