Serchen, Emily Arlene (Grad - Spring 2021)

Emily Arlene Serchen of chili has graduated cum laude (“with honor”) from Iowa State University in Ames, IA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. She joined 4,798 other spring graduates. Students had the opportunity to attend in-person ceremonies and celebrations at Hilton Coliseum and Jack Trice Stadium May 7 and 8, which were livestreamed for those who preferred a virtual option.

Serchen also earned a place on the dean’s list. Serchen joins more than 10,500 Iowa State University students who have been recognized for outstanding academic Achievement by being named to the spring semester 2021 dean’s list. Students named to the dean’s list must have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
