Three members of the Rosary-Altar Society of St. Louis Catholic Church,
Dorchester, received special honors for their work in church and community
service at the “mother’s” meeting Thursday night in the church hall.
Mrs. Helen Tulius received recognition for her work in the church affairs and
for having served as housekeeper for the Rev. Gerald Schuh for the past ten
years.
Mrs. Frank Stoiber, a longtime member of the parish, has served in various
offices in the parish organization, and for many years was cook in St. Louis
School.
Mrs. Joseph Weber was honored for her work in church affairs, both locally and
in the diocese, and for community service, having worked with youth for several
years, and more recently with the senior citizen organization.
They each received a gift from the Society, and a decorated cake honoring them
was served along with the lunch.
