Fairview-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (Sesquicentennial – 17 July 2021)

It’s Been a Long Wait, but it’s time to celebrate!

The invitations are out. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church – Fairview will be holding its Sesquicentennial (plus one) Anniversary Gathering Sunday July 17, at the church, located at N13740 Fairview Rd, Fairchild, in Jackson and Clark Counties.

Along with a special celebratory Mass officiated by Father Daniel Thelen at 11 (with limited seating in the church), there will be a dinner of grilled chicken with all the fixin’s and cake at 12:30 p.m. There will be video and memorabilia from the church’s rich history on display in the church basement.

The anniversary committee invites all families with ties to St. Joseph throughout the years to attend, visit, reminisce and celebrate. The church is newly remodeled with handicap-accessibility with a new lift installed.

This even may have had to be postponed in 2020 due to COVID, but it makes everyone even more ready to celebrate in 2021.
