Noll, Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Golden –1978)
Married in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville, on October 4, 1927, Ray and
Rose Noll, 509 East Second St., Neillsville, celebrated their fiftieth wedding
anniversary on June 4. The Nolls held an open house at the American Legion hall,
Sunday afternoon. Rose wore yellow roses with baby’s breath while Ray had a
yellow rose to boutonniere to mark the occasion.
Ray was born November 22, 1902, to Mr. and Mrs. John Noll and prior to retiring
in 1966 had been employed by the city of Neillsville and lived in Milwaukee for
one year after their marriage. In good health, Ray enjoys fishing and gardening
and is a member of the Holy Name Society.
Rose, nee Langreck, was born on August 14, 1901, in St. Lucas, Iowa, to Mr. and
Mrs. John Langreck. She is also in good health, is a member of the Christian
Mother’s Society and enjoys gardening.
The couple have two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Clara) Duval of Cochrane and Mrs.
William (Lorraine) Ross of Marshfield; one son, Donald, Two Rivers; twelve
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Attending the celebration was Fred Langreck, Greenwood, brother of the bride,
who was an original wedding attendant.
