Kalina, Dorothy (Postmaster - 1978)
Recently appointed postmaster of Merrillan office is Dorothy (Subke) Kalina,
succeeding Rodney Helbling who retired in late 1976. Dorothy has been a clerk in
the office for five years and was officer-in-charge after Helbling’s retirement.
She has also worked in the Eau Claire office as a mail sorter. Her husband,
Martin has been a rural mail carrier since 1973 and hey have resided in
Merrillan since 1967. The couple have five children.
