Fritsche, Henry (23 Dec 1892 – 7 Jun 1972)
Funeral services for Henry Fritsche, 79, Route 1, Dorchester, were held at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Stetsonville Saturday, June 10, 1972. He died
the previous Wednesday at Memorial Hospital in Medford. The Rev. James Harte
officiated and burial was made in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Donald Fritsche, Allan Fritsch, Dennis Fischer, Mark Hoffman,
Galen Decker and James Decker.
Mr. Fritsch was born on December 23, 1892 in the Town of Little Black, Taylor
County. He farmed in the Town of Little Black until he retired in 1957. He
served on the Lawndale School Board for many years. On August 20, 1915, he was
married to Irene Rhyner at Stetsonville. She died on April 9, 1953.
He is survived by two sons, Gilbert, Dorchester, and Arthur, Stetsonville; three
daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Arlene) Decker, Eau Claire, Mrs. Herbert (Lenore)
Fischer, PSR, Medford, and Mrs. Charles (Beverly Hoffman, Dorchester; 28
grandchildren; 18-great grandchildren; a brother, Herman Fritsche, Dorchester,
and several other brothers and sisters living in California and Arizona.
