Bardeleben, Arthur F. (15 July 1923 – 2 July 1978)

A Neillsville native, Arthur F. Bardeleben, 54, died July 2, in his Beloit home after suffering an apparent heart attack. Bardeleben was born July 15, 1923, in Neillsville to Herbert and Emma Marg Bardeleben. He married Opal Galbreath in Neillsville on July 25, 1946. She died in 1958. He then married Betty Young in Beloit, May 23, 1959.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was employed at the Warner Electric Brake and Clutch Company for 28 years. He was also a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Richard and Alan, both of Beloit; two sisters, Mrs. James (Gladyce) Cummings, Alma Center, and Helen Houlihan, Sioux City, Iowa; two grandchildren; plus, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 5, with burial in the Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit.
