Younker, Colleen Agnes (27 May 1972)
After a northern Wisconsin honeymoon trip Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lundberg, who were
united in marriage in a 4 p.m. ceremony May 27, 1982 at St. Mary’s Catholic
Church in Tomahawk, will be making their home at Route 1, Tomahawk.
The ceremony, performed by Rev. James Kraker, wed Colleen Agnes Younker,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Younker, former Dorchester residents, to Daniel
Harvey Lundberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Lundberg, also of Tomahawk.
For her wedding the bride chose a long sleeved nylon and rayon gown, which was
taffeta lined and satin banded with a detachable train. A line of tiny buttons
decorated the bodice and the long sleeves were trimmed with daisies.
The double tiered waist length veil was held in place by a jeweled crown set
with crystals and petals. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and white
satin streamers.
Maid of honor was Miss Linda Whitaker, Tomahawk, and bridesmaids were Miss Linda
Reinhold, Tomahawk and Mrs. Barbara Haulouick of Wausau.
The bridal attendants were attired in orchid colored gowns with once puffed
sleeves featuring empire waistline rimmed with satin and lace. Their double
nylon veils with silk and petal flowers fell from the crown to the side. Each
carried a single red rose with satin streamer.
A niece of the bride, Miss Kelly Thompson of Racine was the junior bridesmaid.
She wore a lace empire dress over satin which was designed by her mother, Mrs.
Dan Thompson of Racine. She carried a single rose and white satin streamer.
The bridegroom’s brother, Jim Lundberg, Tomahawk, served as best man. Groomsmen
were Mike Loka and Gary Haulverson, both of Tomahawk, friends of the bridegroom.
A reception and dance for 300 guests was held at the Deer Trail Lodge in
Tomahawk.
The bride attended school in Dorchester and Tomahawk. The bridegroom is a 1962
graduate of Tomahawk Senior High School and is employed by Dietze Construction
Co. of Rhinelander.
