Tim Bublitz, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bublitz of Route 2, Owen, placed in
five of the ten races held at the open horse show in Dorchester Sunday
afternoon.
Riding his horse, Buck, Bublitz received a first place trophy in the Children’s
Barrel Race for 14 year olds and under. He received second place in the same
race riding King.
Bublitz earned a fourth place ribbon in the Jumping Figure Eight race, and two
fifth place ribbons in the Pole Weaving race and Key Hole race.
The Royal Rough Riders of Redford conducted the hose show under NCWHA rules.
Bublitz has been an avid hoses-man for about four years and has been entering
hoses show the past three years.
He will enter Owen-Withee High School as a freshman this year.
