A Colby area resident completed a workshop in industrial design during the
pre-session, June 5 through June 16, 1972 at UW-Stout. He is Bert A. Lietzow,
Route 1, Dorchester.
Taught by Lawrence Wolske of the Whirlpool Corp., the main goal of the course
was to give the students a realistic insight into the work of the industrial
designer, as well as offering them an opportunity to experience the design
process. Much of the work during the pre-session examined coming changes in the
appliances field during the next ten years.
