Gronek, Frank S. (8 Jun 1925 – 12 Jul 1972)
Frank S. Gronek, 47, of Glen Ellyn, Ill., son of Mrs. Stella Gronek of
Abbotsford, died suddenly July 12, 1972.
Funeral services were held July 15 at St. Mathews Catholic Church, Glendale
Heights, Ill., with the Rev. Father George Hurley officiating.
Pallbearers were his sons-in-law, Peter Dulceak and Arthur Alexandria,
brothers-in-law, Lester Hanas, Clemence Grajek, Edwin Filipel and Tony Polak.
Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, River Grove, Ill.
He was born June 8, 1925 at Withee. On November 30, 1946 he married the former
Dorothy Hanas in Chicago.
Mr. Gronek is survived by his mother, Mrs. Stella Gronek, Abbotsford; his wife,
Dorothy of Glen Ellyn; three daughters, Mrs. Peter (Barbara Jean) Dulceak of
West Chicago; Mrs. Arthur (Frances) Alexandria of Melrose Park, Ill., and Dolly
Gronek at home; two grandchildren; two brothers, John of Fontana, Calif., and
Edward of Berwyn, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Clemence (Rose) Grajek, Mrs. Edwin
(Sophie) Filipek and Mrs. Tony (Helen) Polak, all of Chicago.
