UW-Stevens Point (Degrees - 1978)
More than 200 persons, including several from the area, recently received
bachelor’s or master’s degrees in ceremonies at UW-Stevens Point marking the end
of that school’s annual summer session.
During the ceremony, UW-Stevens Point conferred its 1,000th master’s degree in a
graduate program that is 15 years old.
Graduates included Joan Beyerl, Rt. 1 Colby; graduate degree in Med. P.D.;
Phillip Bertz, 312 East Fourth St., Neillsville, bachelor’s; and Carol Poehnlein,
Rt. 2, Neillsville, bachelors.
