Commander G. Primeau, USN, 40, of Abbotsford, has been decorated in Washington,
D.C. with the Navy Commendation Medal for meritorious service from December 11,
1970 to October 29, 1971 while serving as Commanding Officer, Fighter Squadron
32, which at that time was a component of the aircraft Carrier USS. John F.
Kennedy (CVA-67).
Commander Primeau is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin F. Primeau of 407 North 5th
Street, Abbotsford, and husband of the former Miss Jane Coyne of Pittsburg, Pa.
He is currently serving on the Bureau of Naval Personnel as Head of the Aviation
Lieutenant-Commander and Junior Officer Detailer Section.
This marks the second time Commander Primeau has received the Navy Commendation
Medal.
