Prust, Regina (23 February 1899 – 17 August 1978)
Regina Prust, 79, Rt 2 Granton, passed away early Thursday morning, August 17,
at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Prust was born February 23, 1899, in the Town of Grant to Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Garbisch. She was educated near her home and married Charles Prust on
December 9, 1923, in the Town of Grant ceremonies. He passed away on August 20,
1976. She and her husband operated the Triangle Tavern for 41 years. Mrs. Prust
was a member of the Zion American Lutheran Church, Town of Grant.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, from the Zion American Lutheran
Church in Granton with the Rev. Maynard Stokka officiating. Burial was made in
the church cemetery. Vocal music was offered by Martin Hillert, accompanied by
Joann Grassman. Pallbearers for the funeral were Oscar Krause, Carl Krause,
Martin Krause, Martin Hillert, Carl Drescher and Ewald Schlinsog.
