Galetka, Margie Jean (26 August 1978)
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville served as the site for the wedding
mass between Margie Jean Galetka and Gary Lloyd Schlewitz, both of Eau Claire.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Galetka, Sr. Rt, 1
Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schlewitz, Eau
Claire.
Presenting the bride to Father Joseph Henseler was the bride’s gather during the
August 26 early afternoon service. The church choir offered music.
The bride chose a white A-line gown, feathering a chapel train outlined and
rowed with beaded lace, a bodice of white lace and flowered appliques, a white
chiffon over satin skirt and veil with matching lace on the outside edge. She
carried two dozen red satin roses.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Nancy Schell, who was attired in a blue floral chiffon
gown with shoulder cape, blue picture hat and carrying satin roses in a nosegay.
Bestman was Harry McCoy. Ushering were Mike Fletschock and Joseph Galetka.
A reception followed at the Neillsville American Legion Hall. The couple will
make their home at 611 1/2 Balcom St., Eau Claire.
