Brown, John (2 Oct 1897 – 3 Aug 1972)
Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Polnaszek Funeral Home in
Abbotsford, for John Brown, 74, who died August 3, 1972 at his home of an
apparent heart attack.
The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix officiated. Pallbearers were Herb Neuhaus, Jim Buss,
Ernest Schade, Alfred Anderson, Ole Hanson and Ron Gosse.
Mr. Brown was born October 2, 1897 in the town of Holton in Marathon County, and
was a previous employee of the village of Abbotsford.
A veteran of World War I, he is survived by one sister, Nell Dusik, who resides
at the Durand Nursing Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
