Poziombke, U.S. Navy Pat (Service Notes - 1978)
U.S. Navy Machinist’s Mate Third Class Pat Poziombke, son of Alex and Cecilia
Poziombke, Rt. 1 Neillsville, has completed the basic machinist’s mate course.
During the training at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Poziombke received
instruction on the use of hand tools and machine shop equipment. In addition, he
studied the basic operation, maintenance and repair of a ship’s propulsion
equipment, evaporators and generators. He was also introduced to the types of
duty watches that machinist’s mate stands aboard ship.
Poziombke is a 1976 graduate of Neillsville High School and enlisted in the U.S.
Navy this year.
