Joyce and Ester Rannow from Colby were members of the University of Wisconsin
tour which journeyed to Stratford, Connecticut on August 6, 1972 to see the
American Shakespeare Theatre’s production of Julius Caesar, which is playing in
this 18 season repertory with Major Barbara and Anthony and Cleopatra.
In addition to the theatre production, the visitors viewed both the extension
Shakespeare art collection and the costume and design exhibition, which displays
costumed worn in various productions throughout the American Shakespeare
Festival Theatre’s eighteen seasons, ranging from traditional Elizabethan
outfits to the death masque and blue jean ensembles worn during the past
production of “Henry V.”
