Perry Family (Reunion - 1978)
Wednesday and Thursday were two happy days for Kate Dignin last week. Three of
her four brothers gathered here for the first “family reunion” that they have
had since 1972. Their parents, Milton and Emma Perry, farmed in this area for
many years; both are deceased. The Perrys had ten children, Harry, Ira, John,
Tom, Harold, Mattie, Elma, Augusta, Bonnie and Kate. Harry and Ira are deceased;
Matie (Riphenburg) lives in Fairfield, Mont., and could not make the trip; and
Tom is in a nursing home in Wis. Rapids. Those who attended were Elma Tracy from
Hobart, Ind.; Harold, Chesterton, Ind., Mr./Mrs. John Perry, Richland Center;
Mr./Mrs. Glen (Bonnie) Hines, Bemidji, Minn.; and Mrs. Augusta Anderson and
friend, Ben Snater, of Owatonna, Minn.
