Mr. and Mrs. Werner J. Schaefer of Route 1, Abbotsford announce the engagement
of their daughter, Karen, to Richard Verschay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Verschay of Route 1, Owen.
Miss Schaefer graduated from Colby High School in 1967 and St. Joseph’s School
of Nursing in 1970. She was employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Her fiancé graduated from Greenwood High School in 1966 and the UW-Madison in
191. He is a registered pharmacist.
An October 21, 1972 wedding is being planned.
