Konwinski, Kenneth V. “Prince” (1 September 1956 – 26 July 2021)

Kenneth V. “Prince” Konwinski, age 64, of Withee, he left us unexpectedly on July 26, 2021.

Ken was born on September 1, 1956, in Chicago IL to Virgil and Steffie Konwinski. Ken graduated Owen-Withee High School class of 1974. Ken was united in marriage to Donna Dieball on September 12, 1987, in Withee.

Ken was a go-getter, taking on a variety of jobs over the years. He worked at Weathershield in Medford. Other hobbies consist of meat processing, enjoying nature, watching the birds, and taking pictures by the river. He was a huge Packer fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed horseshoes, helping out every chance he could on the farm, golf, pool, and bar tending. Most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Ken is lovingly survived by his wife, Donna Konwinski of thirty-three years of Withee; his three children: Liz (Oak) Slusser of New London, Paul (Lexi) Konwinski of Owen, Robert (fiancée Lexi Anderson) Konwinski of Withee; five grandchildren: Lukas, Brandon, Madison, Raelyn, Emeline. He is also survived by his mother, Steffie Konwinski of Withee; two brothers: Dave Konwinski of Fresno CA and Joe (Mary) Konwinski of Withee, Mother-in-law Ruth Dieball. Relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Virgil, one brother Richard and his father-in-law Rudolf Dieball and his grandparents.

Ken believed you needed to live life to the fullest because tomorrow may never come and always lend a helping hand no matter what. As his family recently learned, he took this to heart by sharing a beer with the goat, Hershey, every night during chores.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Withee. The Pastor Daniel Vang will officiate. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Family and Friends are welcome from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30 and from 11:00 a.m. until the service Saturday all at the church.

The pallbearers will be Paul Konwinski, Robert Konwinski, Aaron Konwinski, Amber Konwinski, Oak Slusser and Terry Arndt. Honorary pallbearers are Dave Konwinski, Joe Konwinski, Liz Slusser, Lukas Slusser, Brandon Slusser, Rich Rinehart, Mitch Rinehart, Gene Dieball, Dan Dieball and Chelsa Henderickson.

Please join us in fellowship to celebrate Ken’s life at O-W Lion’s Pavilion following the burial service.
