A family picnic was held at the Unity Park Sunday honoring Mrs. Grace Nicks on
her 85th birthday. Present were her daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Geary and
daughter, Dorothy, Curtiss; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Telin of Menasha.
Other guests were Mrs. Nick’s brother, Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Lehman and a sister,
Mrs. Viola Morrison, of West Liberty, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lehman and
daughter of Mt. Vernon, Ioa; a son, Walter Nicks, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Roger
Nicks and sons, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Geary and family, Baraboo; Mr. and
Mrs. Clifford Nenzel and family of Stanley;
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Telin and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Telin of Menasha; Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Fredrickson and family of Neenah, and Mrs. Fannie Wicker of Colby.
Ms. Nicks is a resident of the Colonial Home at Colby and is in fair health, in
spite of her advanced age.
