Stanley, Cora B. (9 February 1880 – 12 September 1978)
Cora B. Stanley, 98, a resident of the Neillsville Memorial Home for 15 years,
died September 12 in the Neillsville Memorial Hospital.
Cora Stanley was born on February 9, 1880, to Sylvester and Rhoda Crume Phillips
in Mt. Sterling. She married Norman Stanley on June 24, 1930, in Winona, Minn.,
and was a former resident of Humbird.
She left no survivors. Preceding her in death was her husband, her parents, a
sister, and three brothers.
Funeral services were to be held on Friday, September 15, from the Humbird
United Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter Jenswold officiating. Burial was to
be made in the Town of Mentor Cemetery. The Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home,
Neillsville, was in charge of arrangements.
