With the father of the bride giving her away, Diane Kay Kuhn was married to
David Lee Froehlich in afternoon services at Neillsville’s Calvary Lutheran
Church, September 16. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kuhn,
Rt. 1 Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Froehlich,
Wausau. The newly married couple will reside in Wausau.
Offering music at the ceremony were vocalists, Mr. and Mrs. John Garbisch,
Granton, and Mrs. Kendall Smith, organist, Neillsville.
The bride chose a white satin gown with Queen’s lace and pearls, enhanced by a
long train and short lace net veil. She carried white carnations, daisies and
red roses.
Maid of honor was Susan Eddy, Neillsville, who was joined by Debbie Gehm of
Wausau and Mrs. Duane Dux, Mrs. Edward Kuhn and Virginia and Mary Kuhn, all of
Neillsville. They we attired in blue satin, halter-styled dresses covered by a
flower chiffon print with flower chiffon print with flower print jackets and
carried bouquets of blue-tipped carnations and daisies.
Jenny Hopfer, Milwaukee, and Paul Groskreutz, of Oshkosh, served as flower girl
and ringbearer.
Jim Busche, Mazomanie, was the bestman. He was joined by larry Heil, Wausau;
John Greismer, Mosinee; Edward Kuhn, Neillsville; and Alan Froehlich, Wausau.
Ushering were Ken Kuhn of Neillsville and Gilbert Jensen of Schofield.
Post wedding activities included a reception, dinner and dance at the
Neillsville American Legion Hall.
The bride is a 1972 graduate of Neillsville High school and a 1976 graduate of
District I Technical Institute, Eau Claire. She is a licensed practical nurse at
the Family Heritage Nursing Home, Schofield. The groom is a 1973 graduate of
Wausau East High School and a 1975 graduate of North Central Technical
Institute, Wausau. He is employed as a draftsman for the MILCO division of
Wausau Metal. The couple planned a wedding trip to include Wisconsin Dells and
Milwaukee.
