Twin sons, Derrick Stanley, five pounds, twelve ounces, and Darrin Laurence,
five pounds, twelve ounces, were born to Mr. and Mrs. David Hoernke on September
12, 1972 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hesgard and Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Hoernke
of Colby.
Great-grandparents are Herman Hoernke, Marshfield, Jennie Wagner, Janesville,
and Doris Hesgard of Orfordville.

were baptized Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. David Pankow
officiating.
Sponsors were Randall Kilty, Colby, and Rebecca Bluhm of Waupaca.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hesgard served dinner following the baptism for the
parents, sponsors and great-grandmothers, Mrs. Doris Hesgard, Orfordville, Mrs.
Jennie Waggoner, Janesville, Lonnie Hesgard and friend, Claudia Klund,
Orfordville, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Carpenter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence
Hoernke, and son, Dale, and friend, Sheila Nacker, and great-grandfather, Herman
Hoernke, Beverly Schmitt, Stetsonville, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mellenthin.
