Zwirchitz, Judith Delane (7 Oct 1972)
First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford was the setting of the October 7, 1972
wedding of Miss Judith Delane Zwirchitz of Sheboygan and Robert Edward Uselding,
also of Sheboygan.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Zwirchitz of Abbotsford and Mr.
and Mrs. Raymond Uselding of Belgium.
Rev. Keun Won Park, pastor, performed the 4:30 p.m. ceremony before the altar
bedecked with gladiolas and mums.
The bride’s dress was fashioned of antique ivory and satin and Venice lace. The
silhouette was traditional in style with high Victorian neckline, waist slimming
midriff and long tapered sleeves. Wide lace with pulled through ivory satin
ribbon accent the bodice, neckline, sleeves, and floated down the wide inverted
pleats. For aisle interest a waistline train swept to a chapel length. Her veil
of bridal illusion was held in place by a Camelot hat trimmed with matching
lace. Her flowers were two long stemmed yellow roses with simple eggshell
ribbon.
A friend of the bride, Cathy Clemens of Sheboygan, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Linda Holtz, Madison, friend of the bride, Pat Uselding,
Belgium, the groom’s sister-in-law, Mary Ann Baer, Madison, sister of the groom;
and Pat Huser, Frederic, friend.
The flower girl was Tandi May Neevel of Sheboygan.
The bridal attendants were attired in floor length dresses with high Victorian
neckline, waist slimming midriffs and puffed sleeves with French Cuffs. Their
full A-line skirts featured a sash at the waistline. Blouse of rose, violet,
plum, mellow green and burnt orange were teamed with plaid skirts in a
combination of colors of the blouses. They carried small colonial bouquets of
yellow roses, white carnations and carnations tinted to match each blouse.
Attending the groom as best man was Donald Welsch. The groomsmen were Edward
Zwirchitz, Richard Uselding, Gary Uselding and James Uselding. Ushers were Bruce
Hetzel and Robert Baer.
Music during the ceremony was “My Dad”, “People” and “One Hand, One Heart.”
Following a dinner at the church, approximately 200 guests attend a reception
and dance at the Owen Country Club. A post reception was held in Sheboygan.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Uselding are hair stylists. The bride is a graduate of
Abbotsford High School and the Accredited School of Cosmetology, Madison. Her
husband graduated from Port Washington High School, spent two years in the Army,
and graduated from the Accredited School of Cosmetology, Madison.
After a wedding trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, the couple will be making their
home at 1814 South 14th Street in Sheboygan.
