Reil, Mrs. Louis (6 Jun 1888 – 9 Oct 1972)
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 12, 1972 at Oshkosh for Mrs. Louis
Reil, formerly of Abbotsford, who died October 9 at Mercy Medical Center in
Oshkosh following a brief illness.
Mrs. Reil was born near Oconomowoc June 6, 1888, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Hess. She was married to George Reil in Milwaukee on April 14, 1908. He
died April 17, 1970.
Mrs. Reil was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Oshkosh.
Survivors include a son, Ben of Oshkosh, and a daughter, Mrs. Armin (Luella)
Deullman, Rhinelander. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lena Singstock,
Memorial Home, Neillsville, and Mrs. Alma Wilke, Watertown, and 11 grandchildren
and 17 great-grandchildren.
