The Rev. Emil Hodnik, pastor of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, was
listed in satisfactory condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield with a
head injury suffered Monday night.
Fr. Hodnik was selling light bulbs for the Lions Club and fell approximately
eight feet from the first floor into the basement of a house located on
Abbotsford’s west end.
Fr. Hodnik needed 14 stitches to close two cuts to his head. He also may have
suffered a back injury.
He was taken to the hospital by Abbotsford ambulance.
