Denny Beckman, associated with Adolph’s Barber Shop, Colby, for the past five years, began today his own barber shop in Abbotsford. He purchased the business from Anthony Schmirler, who operated Tony’s Barber Shop in Abbotsford for the past 32 years.

Beckman is a 1965 graduate of the Eau Claire Barber School, and has worked in barber shops at La Crosse, Wausau and Shawano. He is married to the former Judy Lange of Abbotsford. The couple is expecting their first child and plan to move to Abbotsford early next year. They now reside at Route 1, Colby.
