Ridderbusch, Viola (30 Apr 1897 – 8 Nov 1972)
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church,
Abbotsford, for Mrs. Fred Ridderbusch, 75, 430 W. Spruce Street, Abbotsford, who
died Wednesday, November 8, 1972 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
The Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiated, with burial in the Abbotsford Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jon Neidhold, Joel Larson, Fredrick Neidhold, Bruce Rundle,
Bill Ridderbusch, and H. Hollister.
Mrs. Ridderbusch, the former Viola Neidhold, was born April 30, 1897 in
Weyauwega, where she also received her education. She married Fred A.
Ridderbusch on November 30, 1922 in the Town of Holton.
They farmed in the town of Holton, Marathon County, until 1957, when they moved
to Abbotsford. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Ladies
Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors, besides her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Joyce) Libsack,
Washington, and three sons, Dale, Abbotsford, Roy of Seattle, Wash., and Neal of
Milwaukee.
Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Russel (Faye) Henderson, Waupaca; Mrs.
Malcomb (Tris) Larson, Weyauwega; Mrs. Lund (Elaine) Marcy, Ogdensburg, and Mrs.
Charles (Eva) Wolf, Chicago. Three brothers, Leonard of Washington, John,
Abbotsford, and Alvin of Weyauwega, also survive, as well as fourteen
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
